Getting your media files to Actor Design
Actor Design's Top Tips

Your Media Files

In order for your site to sell you in the best possible way we need your headshots, production photographs, rehearsal shots, voice clips, showreel and any Youtube links. Casting people need to be able to see what you look like, hear how you sound, and see you at work.
Included in the price of your Actor Design ‘Made to Measure’ site, you will be able to show:
  • 30 x Photographs
  • 1 x Hosted showreel
  • 5 x Hosted MP3 voice clips
  • Any number of embedded YouTube/Video links
  • Any number of Actor Design Theatre Reels
If you have chosen a ‘Bespoke’ site then we will discuss with you your requirements and prices accordingly.
We may edit and crop your photographs for you so that they market you effectively and professionally, when you are presented with the rough-cut design of your site, you can check your pictures and let us know of any changes you might want to make. We will present them in ‘gallery form’, and may choose seperate galleries for ‘types’ of shots.
Your hosted showreel will be presented on your media page using a JWPlayer, the Internet’s most popular and flexible media player.
Your hosted MP3′s or Voiceclips will be presented on your media page using an Actor Design MP3 player, making sure your clips are available to all browsers in the best possible quality.
Getting your Media Files to us couldn’t be simpler.
The best and most effective way for you to get your files to us is via email. Attach your headshots, production photographs, showreels, and voice clips etc using one or more email messages and then hit send. It may be easier to send them in batches. We will then let you know we have received them.
Should you have HUGE files which can’t be emailed then there are other methods available – contact us to discuss your individual requirements and we’ll advise you of the best method.
Printed photographs
If you want to use printed photographs for your website, it is advised that you get them scanned and then email them to us. We couldn’t guarentee their safety within the postal system.
